Experienced, Compassionate, and Committed to Excellence
Dr. Kashefi brings over 28 years of trusted dental experience to Pomegranate Dental. He began his dental career at Tehran University in 1994 and later moved to Canada, where he completed the Internationally Trained Dentists Program at the University of Western Ontario in 2012. His advanced training includes expertise in dental implants, prosthetics, and cosmetic dentistry.
Known for his gentle approach and focus on patient-centered care, Dr. Kashefi works alongside his wife, Dr. Arezoo Manafi, who serves as the clinic’s director. Together, they’ve created a warm, welcoming environment where patients feel at ease. Both Dr. Kashefi and Dr. Manafi are Adjunct Clinical Professors at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, where they mentor and guide future dental professionals.
Fluent in both English and Farsi, Dr. Kashefi is proud to call London, Ontario home, where he enjoys life with his wife and their two daughters. He is an active member of several respected dental organizations, including:

Dr. Ghanbary is a proud graduate of the University of Western Ontario’s Schulich School of Dentistry and a dedicated member of the Pomegranate Dental team. She provides a wide range of dental treatments, including restorative care, periodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery. Her comprehensive skill set and gentle, attentive approach make her a trusted provider for patients of all ages.
Dr. Ghanbary is fluent in English, Farsi, and German, which allows her to build strong connections with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds. She takes time to explain procedures clearly and ensures that every patient feels understood and cared for throughout their visit. Her ability to create a positive, inclusive environment is especially valued by families and new patients.
With a strong background in pediatric care, Dr. Ghanbary is particularly skilled at working with children and helping them feel comfortable during their appointments. Her calm and friendly nature supports a stress-free experience for kids and parents alike. She is an important part of our mission to provide personalized, compassionate care to the North London community.

Dr. Amy Lee is a compassionate and experienced dental professional who brings a strong academic foundation and a patient-focused approach to Pomegranate Dental. Originally from New Brunswick, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Acadia University and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with distinction from the University of Western Ontario. Her educational background allows her to take a whole-health approach to dental care, understanding how oral health connects with overall wellness.
Dr. Lee is known for her gentle manner, clear communication, and attention to detail. She believes that great dental care starts with listening and works closely with each patient to create treatment plans that are personalized and effective. Whether she's treating children, adults, or seniors, Dr. Lee strives to create a calm and welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and understood.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Lee serves as a clinical instructor in the second-year endodontics course at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. Her involvement in dental education reflects her passion for mentoring future dentists and staying current with evolving techniques. She is a valued member of the Pomegranate Dental team and a trusted provider for families in North London.
Dr. Arezoo (Azi) Manafi brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and compassionate care to Pomegranate Dental. With over 20 years of experience in general and family dentistry, Dr. Manafi is known for her gentle approach, attention to detail, and commitment to patient comfort. She earned her dental degree internationally before furthering her education in Canada, where she completed advanced training in restorative and pediatric dentistry.
In addition to her clinical background, Dr. Manafi plays a vital role as the office director, ensuring each patient feels welcome, informed, and cared for from the moment they walk in. Her passion for community education and preventive care shines through in every patient interaction. Fluent in both English and Farsi, Dr. Manafi enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds. Outside of the office, she is an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry and is a proud mother of two.
